The 20-year-old will remain on the team's books through 2026.
Astralis has announced Victor "Staehr" Staehr's extension until 2027. The 20-year-old was brought on in June 2023 and played his first full year with the Danish team in 2024.
"Staehr is one of the best talents we've had in Denmark in five years," Nicolai "device" Reedtz told HLTV in 2023, and now Astralis have secured continuity with the rifler just half a year after device himself extended his contract through 2026.

Astralis' Sports Director, Kasper Straube also made a statement following Staehr's renewal. "It goes without saying that a player like Staehr is a priority for us," he said, "and it was important to reach an agreement to continue working together.
"That desire was mutual, and with this extension, we now have all players secured for the coming years. This gives us both stability and the continuity we need to keep building on our positive progress."
Astralis haven't added a big trophy to their cabinet since 2020, well before Staehr joined the team, but have recently come close with a third-place at PGL Cluj-Napoca and semi-final finishes at IEM Chengdu and ESL Pro League Season Season 19 in 2024.
"We’re not there yet, and we will definitely lose games along the way," Straube added, "but we have a team with both the quality and the mentality to keep improving and, over time, compete for titles. Today, we’ve taken an important step in that direction."
